About Me

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management and am on track to graduate in the spring of 2026. Throughout my career, I have gained hands‑on experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including a chiropractic clinic and, most recently, a dermatology practice. I chose this degree because of its versatility and the wide range of professional opportunities it offers within the healthcare industry. As I continue to build my skills and experience, I am particularly interested in transitioning into medical sales, where I can combine my clinical exposure, communication strengths, and passion for patient-centered care to support providers and promote high‑quality medical solutions.

Why Health Services Management?

I chose Health Services Management because I have always been drawn to working in a clinical or medical‑company environment. I initially began my academic path in nursing, but I eventually realized that the direct clinical side of healthcare wasn’t the best fit for me. Instead, I found myself more interested in the administrative, operational, and leadership aspects of the field—areas that still allow me to contribute meaningfully to patient care while aligning better with my strengths and long‑term goals.

This major provides the ideal balance of healthcare knowledge and business skills, giving me the flexibility to explore a wide range of career opportunities within the industry. It also supports my interest in pursuing a future in medical sales, where I can combine my healthcare experience with strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
